Privacy
Last updated: 1 October 2026. This notice describes what happens when you use MyIPGo at myipgo.com, its JSON API, or its MCP endpoint.
Requests to MyIPGo
The site runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare receives your connection IP address and technical request data when it delivers the site and API. For the “my IP” result, our Worker uses the connecting IP address and Cloudflare network metadata, such as approximate city, region, country, and network organization when available. This location is an estimate based on the network, not GPS or a street address. API responses are sent with no-store caching instructions.
IP and DNS lookups
When you look up another IP address, MyIPGo sends that address to IPinfo Lite if the service is configured. The result can include country and autonomous system information; city-level lookup data is not requested. If IPinfo is not configured, MyIPGo returns a limited result and does not send the lookup to that provider. DNS and reverse-DNS queries are sent to Cloudflare’s public DNS-over-HTTPS service. The domain or reverse-DNS name and requested record type are included in that query.
Map and optional connection check
When Cloudflare provides approximate coordinates, your browser loads visible map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap. OpenStreetMap receives the tile requests, your browser’s network information, and the map area being viewed. The IPv4 and IPv6 connection check runs only after you select it; your browser then contacts ipify directly. These checks reveal your connection IP to ipify.
Browser storage and tracking
The app stores your selected language and light or dark theme in your browser’s local storage. It does not create an account or save a lookup history. The app code does not set advertising cookies or include an advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking service. No paid service or advertising is active.
Service providers and retention
Cloudflare, IPinfo, OpenStreetMap, and ipify handle requests sent to their services under their own terms and privacy practices. MyIPGo does not control their logs or retention periods. Cloudflare may process request information to provide and protect its network services. Review the providers’ notices for details.
Your choices and contact
You can choose not to use a lookup, map, or connection check. You can clear the saved language and theme by removing this site’s local storage in your browser. For questions about this notice, contact contact@myipgo.com. Requests about information held by an external provider should be directed to that provider.
