What you can use

Read the caller’s public IP, look up an IP’s country and network, resolve DNS and reverse DNS, or calculate an IPv4 subnet.

JSON API

Call these HTTPS endpoints directly. Responses are JSON; the lookup accepts IPv4 and IPv6 addresses.

MCP endpoint

Connect an MCP client with Streamable HTTP. The tools are my_ip, lookup_ip, dns_lookup, reverse_dns, and subnet_calculator.

How to interpret results

An agent calling my_ip sees its own server’s exit IP, which may differ from the human user’s IP. IP location is approximate. The free lookup returns country and ASN, not a city, VPN verdict, or leak test.
